CARE Australia is delighted our Board member Larke Riemer has been appointed as an Officer of the Order of Australia in the General Division.
Larke is a leader in the financial sector, with a strong record of pushing for a better outcome for women in the economy. She received the award for distinguished service to business and commerce through leadership in the finance and banking industry, and as an advocate for gender equality and diversity in the sector.
Larke has been an active CARE Australia Board member since 2015, and is a passionate advocate of CARE’s work and commitment to women’s empowerment.
Larke said, “I am honoured to be recognised for my work supporting women throughout my banking career. Something I continue to support with CARE Australia.”
